As of Monday 25th February 2008, the Federation is in the process of being wound up, due to circumstances beyond our control.It is with great sadness we report this, as there is such great potential and need for a united body to represent this modality. The website will remain active as a resource for the next 6 months until our hosting expires.

History

The Association was formed in mid 2004 in response to a changing political climate within Australia. It was felt that there was a pressing need to retain viability and raise awareness of the benefits of Energy Medicine. The vision was to create a much-needed forum for practitioners of all forms of Energy Medicine, as well as manufacturers and distributors of devices utilised in the delivery of Energy Medicine.

Initially the name 'Bio-Energetics'   was used to loosely define a number of different types of both 'electro medicine' and 'hands on' modalities, however it came to our attention that this term was also widely used to define several other disciplines, some far removed from the work we do, so the group consensus was made to change the name of the Association. The changeover was completed August 2007.

It's an exciting time, as we witness in this early part of the 21st Century, a convergence of the growing understanding of quantum mechanics, the principles of Relativity and chaos theory. There is almost daily new discoveries and it comes as no surprise to those of us long involved in this work, that 'science is catching up with older wisdom'.

 

Objectives

  • Seek professional recognition of Energy Medicine
  • Support and oversee the development of an accredited National Training Course
  • Apply for access to appropriate insurance cover and health rebates
  • Foster unity among energy medicine modalities
  • Development of Quality Practice Standards
  • Support for practitioners and manufacturers in TGA issues
  • Develop a resource base of links, articles, books and clinical products related to energy medicine
  • Establishment of clinical trials linked to reputable training facilities
